Installation Instructions
For a perfect and secure fit, please follow these steps carefully:
Preparation: Ensure the boot sill area is completely clean, dry, and free of any dust, wax, or grease. Use isopropyl alcohol for the best result.
Test Fit: Before removing the adhesive backing, place the protector pieces in their respective positions to confirm the fit.

Installing the Outer Sill Guard:
Peel off the 3M tape backing and carefully align the guard with the edge of the boot sill.
Apply firm pressure along the entire surface, especially along the edges, for 30-60 seconds to ensure a strong bond.

Installing the Inner Sill Guard (Critical Step):
It is crucial to tuck the outer edge of the inner guard under the car's original rubber seal for it to sit flush. Gently lift the rubber seal along the boot opening.
- Final Setup: After installation, avoid placing heavy stress on the protectors and do not open the boot through heavy force for at least 24 hours to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
Delivery Information: Due to its oversize nature, we cannot ship to P.O. boxes or Parcel Collect addresses. Please ensure you provide a physical delivery address.

The product is defective or dead on arrival
- If the product is assessed to be defective or dead on arrival the buyer is is entitled to a replacement product, partial refund or full refund. If the defective item is requested to be returned, a replacement item will be sent after the defective item is received. Shipping costs will be covered by EV Gear.
- EV Gear is not liable for products that have been misused or incorrectly installed. Please read the instructions or contact us for any support.
- EV Gear is not liable for reasonable wear and tear due to the product's age and normal use.
Change of mind
- We accept returns for a refund if you change your mind. To qualify, items must be returned at your expense within 30 days and must be in unused, undamaged condition. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund. If the item is returned damaged, a partial refund may be issued. Please ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during shipping.
- Please note that all change-of-mind refunds are subject to a restocking fee of either $8.00 or 8% of the item's value, whichever is higher.
