Split-design: The full bonnet protector consists three parts, you can choose to install all three parts, or the middle piece only depending on your preference.
Installation:
- Clean the Surface – Thoroughly wash and dry the bonnet edge where the protector will be mounted. Use alcohol wipes to remove dust, wax, or grease.
- Test Fit First – Position the bonnet protector to check alignment before peeling any tape.
- Peel Back Tape Liner – Remove a small section of the red backing from each adhesive strip. Do not peel all at once.
- Align & Stick – Carefully place the protector against the bonnet edge, pressing down firmly as you peel off the remaining tape backing.
- Apply Firm Pressure – Press along the entire length of the protector for a secure bond.
- (Optional) – Use an adhesion promoter or a hair dryer to warm the tape slightly for stronger hold (especially in colder weather).
- Curing Time – Avoid water, car washes, or heavy driving for at least 24 hours to allow full adhesion.

Due to the size restriction, this item cannot be shipped to PO box or Parcel Collect addresses, please provide a physical street address for delivery.

The product is defective or dead on arrival
- If the product is assessed to be defective or dead on arrival the buyer is is entitled to a replacement product, partial refund or full refund. If the defective item is requested to be returned, a replacement item will be sent after the defective item is received. Shipping costs will be covered by EV Gear.
- EV Gear is not liable for products that have been misused or incorrectly installed. Please read the instructions or contact us for any support.
- EV Gear is not liable for reasonable wear and tear due to the product's age and normal use.
Change of mind
- We accept returns for a refund if you change your mind. To qualify, items must be returned at your expense within 30 days and must be in unused, undamaged condition. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund. If the item is returned damaged, a partial refund may be issued. Please ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during shipping.
- Please note that all change-of-mind refunds are subject to a restocking fee of either $8.00 or 8% of the item's value, whichever is higher.
